Excited! You’re in the third trimester of your pregnancy, soon you will hold your little one in your arms and pamper with lots of love. You must be celebrating the last few months of your pregnancy and can't wait to eat all foods you craved for or restricted to eat; wait for your delivery to eat them all. But, for now, you have to stick to the healthy diet only as in the third trimester, your baby needs more nutrients to grow properly!

Fruits and green vegetables
Eating fruits and vegetables during pregnancy is beneficial for you and your future baby as it provides various nutrients. Include fibre rich fruits in your diet, it helps to relieve constipation during pregnancy.
Seeds and nuts
Nuts are full of nutritional value required during pregnancy. So if you feel hungry, have a handful of almonds, walnuts, cashews, etc.
Salad
Eat healthy! Salad with all vegetables and fruits rich in Vitamin C, E and fibre and add your favourite flavour you crave for, in it.
Iron-rich foods
During pregnancy, lack of iron in your pregnancy diet for the third trimester may lead you to anaemia and make you feel dizzy. Include foods that are rich in iron like spinach, peas, broccoli, etc.
A folic acid-rich diet
You can include folic acid vegetables like spinach and lettuce, and citrus fruits in your third-trimester diet. Eating a folic acid-rich diet helps in proper fetus development in the womb and reduces the risk of low weight birth of your baby.
Protein-rich food
During this stage of your pregnancy, your body needs at least 70grams of protein in your daily diet. A protein-rich diet helps maintain blood glucose, reduce the risk of gestational diabetes, and improve the baby's health inside the womb.
Foods Rich in Magnesium
A magnesium-rich diet during the third-trimester repairs damaged tissues and provides relief from body cramps and preterm childbirth.
Salt
Avoid eating salty foods such as chips and fries. Eating salty food may shoot up your blood pressure.
Sugar
In the third trimester, there are high chances of having gestational diabetes. It is not good for your baby to be healthy inside the womb.
Spicy food
Avoid eating spicy and oily food during this period of your pregnancy, as it creates heartburns and indigestion.
If you’re health-conscious and always eat a healthy diet, then it’s good. But if you’re a person with a habit of eating unhealthy food, change your eating habit and eat healthy during pregnancy.
